Many Everton fans have been lauding Allan as Nicolo Schira has revealed on his Twitter page that talks are ongoing between the Merseyside club and Napoli as to whether a deal can be struck in the upcoming summer transfer window.
As per the journalist, he is apparently the first choice of Carlo Ancelotti, but Diego Simeone’s Atletico Madrid have also asked for information on the situation of the central midfield player in the last few days.
Indeed, Allan could be a viable option for the Goodison Park faithful come next season based off of his stats in the Serie A so far in the 2019/20 campaign.
The Brazilian international has averaged more tackles, shots and key passes per league game than the likes of Fabian Delph, Tom Davies and Andre Gomes in the Premier League, according to Whoscored.
Would Allan start for Everton under Carlo Ancelotti?
These EFC supporters lauded the transfer news on Twitter, as Allan may be an upgrade on their current options in the middle of the park based off of his stats:
Talks continue between #Everton and #Napoli for the brazilian midfielder #Allan. He is the first choice for #Toffees manager Carlo #Ancelotti. Also #AtleticoMadrid have asked info for Allan in the last days. #transfers #EFC

Hmm, 29 or whatever, get him if that’s who Ancelotti wants. He’s a very good player and better than our CM’s
