Everton: Fans laud Leon Bailey update as new agent ready to help seal cut-price deal

Plenty of Everton fans have been lauding the latest transfer update on Leon Bailey as the Daily Express have reported that his new agent is ready to help his client seal a cut-price £25 million transfer.
The Jamaican international has changed to Aidy Ward, who also manages the likes of English duo Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Raheem Sterling.
As per the outlet, the Merseyside club have been tracking the Bayer Leverkusen ace and will be keeping an eye on his situation as his agent looks to try and force through a move to the Premier League.
The Toffees have been sending some of their scouts to Germany to watch his displays, including in the DFB Pokal final against Bayern Munich.
The winger would arguably be an upgrade on the current first-team under Carlo Ancelotti, as he scored more goals and averaged more shots, dribbles and crosses per game in the 2019/20 season in the Bundesliga than Alex Iwobi, Theo Walcott and Bernard in their respective campaigns in the English top flight, according to Whoscored.
Does Bailey start for Everton?
Yes

No

Several members of the Goodison Park faithful have also expressed their desire for Bailey to come to the Blues previously, but whether they can get a deal over the dotted line is another question.
These EFC supporters lauded the news on Twitter, with one fan even branding him as ‘exceptionally good’:
Please marcel get it done
