Everton: Fans laud link to Atletico Madrid ace Santiago Arias

Plenty of Everton fans have been lauding a transfer link to Santiago Arias as Dominic King has claimed on his official Twitter page that the Merseyside club are pursuing the Atletico Madrid ace.
As per the Daily Mail journalist, the two clubs are discussing a transfer fee for the Colombian international.
King also claimed that it would be an important move for Carlo Ancelotti, who is eager to strengthen at the right-back position.
Indeed, the future of Jonjoe Kenny is uncertain at Goodison Park following his loan spell away at German team FC Schalke 04, while Djibril Sidibe has returned to AS Monaco after his own loan spell at the Toffees.
That only really leaves club-captain Seamus Coleman as a senior figure in the current squad that can play in that role, so perhaps the signing of Arias should be prioritised.
One EFC supporter on Twitter even claimed that the 28-year old would be a ‘much better option than Coleman’, and given that Arias averaged more tackles, interceptions, blocks, shots, key passes and crosses than the Irishman (via Whoscored) in their respective domestic leagues in the 2019/20 season, perhaps he has a case.
Who would start for Everton?
Arias

Coleman

These Blues lauded the news, as they potentially feel that he is needed to challenge Coleman in that position and perhaps even start over the 31-year old:
Be a good signing . Reasonable fee as well I’d guess

In on loan, and Kenny back out on loan or a sale. Sounds good to me. Brands wanted this guy before Madrid, must see something in him. May just not suit Spanish football. Digne worked out well for us

Let’s get this one done. @MrAncelotti is clearly going after players of a higher quality which previous managers have forgotten that’s what you’re supposed to do in order to improve!
