Everton: Fans praise Marcel Brands as transfer revelation comes to light

Marcel Brands has impressed the Everton fanbase following a report that has shed light on some of his recent tactics.
According to The Athletic’s David Ornstein (relayed via @EvertonNewsFeed), the club’s Director of Football urged Marco Silva to take a chance on Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
Who will score more goals for Everton this season?
Dominic Calvert-Lewin

Richarlison

Last summer, the then Everton manager was reportedly interested in signing Mario Mandzukic from Juventus. However, Brands convinced Silva to drop his interest and focus on the up-and-coming youngster.
Calvert-Lewin really made a name for himself last season. After bagging 13 Premier League goals, the England youth international has carried his fine form into the new campaign. The forward has scored four goals in the first two matches of the season, including his hat-trick against West Brom in their most recent fixture (via Transfermarkt).
Loads of Blues fans are in agreement with Brands’ strategy and are praising his decision to put faith in DCL. One supporter has said the club should give ‘credit to Brands’ as the young striker is going from ‘strength to strength’.

Have to give credit to Brands , would have been a disaster that signing. DCL going from strength to strength.
