Everton: Fans react as AS Roma chase last-ditch signing of Bernard
According to an update courtesy of talkSPORT correspondent Alex Crook, AS Roma are interested in pursuing a loan deal for Everton winger Bernard – prompting many fans to react and draw up various theories on Twitter ahead of the last few hours of deadline day.
Bernard, who started 15 games under Carlo Ancelotti last season, scoring three goals and assisting two others in the Premier League over 2019/2020 (WhoScored), is now attracting very late interest from Serie A giants AS Roma.
As Everton continue to press for last minute deals themselves, mainly in the goalkeeping department, the Toffees may be wishing to offload in a bid to balance the books.

I like Bernard and want to keep him unless we get a superior replacement. The suspense is killing me re Carlo’s tease although only the international transfer window closes tonight.
