Everton: Fans react as Jean-Clair Todibo negotiates personal terms

Lots of Everton fans have been reacting on Twitter as Sport (via The Gwladys Street) reported that Jean-Clair Todibo is apparently negotiating personal terms with the Merseysdie club ahead of a possible move in the upcoming summer transfer window.
The FC Barcelona central defender, who is currently on loan at FC Schalke 04 in Germany, is enjoying a relatively fine 2019/20 season so far, which has surely peaked the Toffees’ interest.
Todibo has won 5.4 duels on average per game in the Bundesliga and also manages 1.4 successful dribbles per match, which is impressive for a centre-back, according to Sofascore.
The 20-year old has also averaged more tackles and interceptions and has a higher passing success rate than current Everton centre-back options Mason Holgate, Michael Keane and Yerry Mina in this campaign, as per Whoscored.
Should Everton sign Todibo over Gabriel?
Yes

No

However, Todibo has never played in England, and at just 20 years of age, he perhaps still has a lot to learn to make the centre-half role his own at Goodison Park.
These EFC supporters seemed to have mixed reactions upon reading the transfer news:
Good young player. Let’s hope

Right back if Kenny stays at Shalke or goes somewhere else. I would say we need a 1-2 CBs (Todibo and Silva), 2 mids, 1-2 wingers, and a right back (doesn't need to be a starter but capable to start)

Everton really like a player who couldn’t make it at Barca
