Everton: Fans react as Lewis Gibson may leave on loan

Plenty of Everton fans have been reacting to a piece of transfer news from The Athletic with regards to the future of Lewis Gibson.
As per the outlet, Carlo Ancelotti may let the central defender leave Goodison Park on loan in the summer window, with EFL Championship club Huddersfield Town as well as German team Fortuna Dusseldorf interested in his services for the new 2020/21 season.
Does Gibson have a future at Everton?
Yes

No

Gibson is highly rated on Merseyside and is apparently in need of more game time at a higher level than League One, given that he spent the second half of the 2019/20 term on loan at Fleetwood Town, where he played in 11 matches in all competitions in total, according to Transfermarkt.
However, the Toffees see a future for the 20-year old, who was part of the England squad who won the U17 World Cup back in 2017 (via the website).
These EFC supporters reacted to the news on Twitter, with one Blue even suggesting to ‘offer him to Watford’ as part of a deal to land reported transfer target Abdoulaye Doucoure:

Hopefully he gets the right move and we see some more players leave 😁

If he goes on loan then we must loan a repayment

Decent move for him that as in 12 months i think he will be ready for us along with Brathwaite so a CB will be sold next summer prob Keane.

He’d start at Huddersfield. Last year, Chelsea loanee Trevoh Chalobah started 36 games and he’s not back. They also have up the 5th most goals so help is needed. I think the Championship is better competition than 2. Bundesliga.
