Everton: Fans react to report regarding Cenk Tosun - Everton

Fans of Everton have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relayed a report regarding the potential departure of Toffees centre-forward, Cenk Tosun.

According to the report by Championat (via Sporx), Russian Premier League side CSKA Moscow have ‘started negotiations’ with Everton regarding the transfer of the £6.3 million-rated striker, who it is said has ‘decided to leave’ the club.

So far this season, the 27-year-old has found regular game time hard to come by under Carlo Ancelotti, starting no Premier League matches at all, playing a total of just 43 minutes in the competition.

However, Sporx go on to claim that, while it may be easy to convince Everton of a deal, which is reported to initially be a loan move that includes an option to buy, convincing Tosun himself ‘will not be easy’ for CSKA.

This latter point does not seem to have bothered Everton fans however, as after The Mighty Blues relayed the report on Twitter, many flocked to social media to share their delight at the prospect of Tosun leaving their club.
