Everton: Fans slam Jean-Clair Todibo despite being compared to Marcel Desailly

Loads of Everton fans have been slamming Jean-Clair Todibo as Portuguese newspaper Record (via Sport Witness) have claimed that the Merseyside club are interested in signing the FC Barcelona man in the upcoming summer transfer window.
As per the outlet, Carlo Ancelotti’s team also face competition from the likes of Wolverhampton Wanderers, Benfica and Fenerbahce for the player who spent the 2019/20 season on loan at FC Schalke 04 in the Bundesliga.
Barcelona apparently demanded a transfer fee of €25 million, which equates to around £22.4 million, from the German side to keep hold of him, but a move has not materialised as of yet, meaning that the Toffees could possibly swoop in if they wanted to.
Despite being compared to former Chelsea ace now legend Marcel Desailly by his agent Bruno Satin in an interview with SportNews.eu (via Tribuna), several members of the Goodison Park faithful do not seem to want the Blues to sign the 20-year old.
Should Everton sign Todibo over Gabriel?
Yes

No

Todibo averaged less clearances and key passes in Germany’s highest division than Mason Holgate, Michael Keane and Yerry Mina have so far in the Premier League in this campaign, according to Whoscored.
These EFC supporters slammed the link on Twitter, with a couple suggesting that signing a central defender is not a priority and the money being asked for the Frenchman could be spent better elsewhere:
Why do we need a center back? Holgate keane mina braithwaite and lewis Gibson..

Just what we need – someone that can barely get a game

Why we need midfielders

That is not our priority, we have 3 decent CB’s and 2 youngsters. Everyone knows its all about changing 3 midfielders.

So a defender for a club leaking goals and almost relegted ? No thanks.

Has the comparison been made and the answer is “not as good “!
