Loads of Everton fans have been slamming a transfer link to Emmanuel Dennis as the Daily Express have reported that the Merseyside club are considering making a move for the Club Brugge man in the summer window.
As per the outlet, a new striker is apparently on the top of the wish list of Carlo Ancelotti, and Dennis seems to fit the bill.
However, the Italian boss supposedly face competition from fellow Premier League rivals Arsenal and Leeds United for his services.
Despite Ancelotti’s interest in a brand new centre-forward, Dennis is arguably not an out-and-out striker, having also played several games on the wings in the 2019/20 season, according to Transfermarkt.
The 22-year old is arguably not a prolific goalscorer either, scoring just nine times in 33 matches in all competitions in the last campaign (via the website).
Does Dennis start for Everton?
These members of the Goodison Park faithful slammed the news on Twitter, with one EFC supporter even branding the Nigerian international as ‘bang average’ whilst another suggested he was ‘basically Sandro’ – a player who has struggled for goals since moving to the Toffees.
