Plenty of Everton fans have been slamming the latest transfer link to Jean-Clair Todibo as Sport (via Sport Witness) have claimed that FC Barcelona have put him up for sale in the upcoming summer transfer window.
As per the outlet, the Catalan giants are demanding a fee of around €20 million, which is the equivalent of roughly £18.1 million, for his services.
However, AS Roma are also said to be interested in the man who spent the 2019/20 season on loan at FC Schalke 04, and Sport have suggested that the Italian team may be his preferred destination as he would reportedly favour a move to Serie A.
Comparing the stats of Todibo in the Bundesliga to those of Mason Holgate, Michael Keane and Yerry Mina in the Premier League so far in this campaign, the 20-year old averaged the fewest clearances and key passes while also recording the most fouls, according to Whoscored.
Should Everton sign Todibo over Gabriel?
These members of the Goodison Park faithful slammed the link on Twitter, with one EFC supporter branding the French central defender as a ‘reject’, and other Toffees feeling that he would not be an upgrade on what they already have:
Surely if he was any good they would wanna keep him

Not the answer mate
Seen him a few times since the restart and he defends like a headless chicken

Surely we got a better transfer policy than to just throw money at every average Barca reject?? 🙄
