As per the outlet, the Switzerland international had his two-year loan with FC Emmen ended prematurely.
Where will Everton finish in the Premier League?
7th - 10th
The Goodison Park faithful extended Tarashaj’s contract by an extra 12 months in the last summer to help make his loan to Emmen possible, who were set to pay his remaining wages over the course of two years, rather than one.
The Merseyside club were only due to pay Tarashaj for what would have been the final 12 months of his original deal.
However, his loan has now been cancelled and he has also left the Blues, with it not yet clear if the Toffees have paid up his remaining salary in full or reached a settlement to cancel his contract.
Everton fan reaction to Tarashaj news
These supporters slammed Tarashaj on Twitter after reading about the news, with one fan branding the 25-year old as a ‘dud’:
Got to be a good thing. The money we have wasted on players is madness

He looked very out of shape and has probably breached his contract by not looking after himself. Hopefully no cost to the club.

Another very poor buy on a long term deal

Another dud to add to the list of “didn’t realise he was still an Everton player”
