Everton have been handed a boost in their chase to sign Napoli midfielder Allan this summer.
Writing for Tuttomercatoweb, Italian journalist Niccolo Ceccarini has tipped Goodison Park to be the Brazilian’s ‘most likely’ destination in the upcoming transfer window should he leave Naples (via Sport Witness).
Relayed via Everton fan account @ToffeeTVEFC, fans have given their opinion on signing the midfielder and many are in agreement that it would be a good idea.
Should Everton look to sign Allan from Napoli in the summer?
No, not worth it
One supporter has tweeted ‘we need a monster in the middle of the park’, which they will certainly get through Allan. In Napoli’s Champions League run this season, the 29-year-old completed an average of 3.8 tackles and 1.7 clearances per game (via Sofascore).
We need a monster in the middle of the park 💪🏻⚽️

Another Everton fan has said the club should ‘go all out’ on bringing Allan to Goodison Park this summer. The Blues’ midfield has been an area of concern this season, with just two goals and two assists coming from the middle of the park in the Premier League (via Transfermarkt).
Should go all out regardless Allan’s quality

I’ve never seen him play but if he played under Ancelotti and he wants him then go for it
