Plenty of Everton fans would rather that the Merseyside club sign Ibrahim Sangare over Watford man Abdoulaye Doucoure as news emerged from Foot Mercato of just how little it would cost to sign the Toulouse ace in the summer transfer window.
According to the outlet, the Ivory Coast international could be available for a maximum of €10 million, which is the equivalent of around £8.9 million, or even as little as €8 million, which equates to roughly £7.1 million.
Who should Everton sign?
Having just one year left on his current deal, this is arguably a very affordable price for Carlo Ancelotti’s team, and he has previously been a transfer target for the Toffees.
The 22-year old may also provide a younger and cheaper alternative to Doucoure in the central midfield position, as the Blues have reportedly had a £25 million bid for the Frenchman accepted by the Hornets.
These members of the Goodison Park faithful were all in agreement in Twitter as they would prefer EFC to sign Sangare over Doucoure:
Prefer this over Doucoure

Same here, even if Watford weren't haggling

could be an easy alternative to doucoure if watford ask for too much

Rather him than doucoure cause he’s got many years ahead of himself and he’s already a decent player

Stronger than Doucoure in my opinion.
