Everton: Fans want Tottenham Hotspur target Zeki Celik

Many Everton fans want Zeki Celik at Goodison Park as The Times reported that the Merseyside club have entered negotiations with Lille over signing the defender in the summer transfer window.
However, as per the outlet, Carlo Ancelotti’s team will face competition from Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham Hotspur for his services, as the French side value him at €20m, which is the equivalent of around £18m.
Celik was a key player for Lille in the 2019/20 season, playing in 32 games in all competitions and providing three assists, according to Transfermarkt.
The Turkish international helped his side finish in a relatively impressive fourth place in the Ligue 1 table following its suspension due to the global pandemic.
At 23 years of age, Celik arguably still has a lot of potential as well, and so the right-back could be seen as a long-term replacement for club captain Seamus Coleman, who is 31 now.
Can Celik be a long-term replacement for Coleman at Everton?

These members of the Goodison Park faithful on Twitter expressed their interest in signing Celik:
