Flocking to Twitter, some Everton fans have erupted over a big update involving transfer target and Dynamo Kiev defender Vitaliy Mykolenko.

Rafael Benitez, looking to turn around the Toffees' fortunes and endear himself to the Everton faithful after his controversial appointment, could be boosted by the soon-to-be-open January transfer window.

Next month may give the Spaniard an opportunity to bolster his squad as he takes charge of transfers following the departure of former football director Marcel Brands.

One man who has been heavily linked recently is left-back Mykolenko with Lucas Digne's future a point of contention.

Now, some big news has emerged on Everton's pursuit of the Ukrainian as Kiev's manager, Mircea Lucescu, makes a transfer admission.

As per Telekom Sport, as translated by Zorya Londonsk, Lucescu is quoted as confirming that the 22-year-old is 'going to Everton' and he will be the first big transfer out of Dynamo since Andriy Yarmolenko.
