Lots of Everton fans have been left gushing over some transfer news on Nathan Patterson.
As per The Guardian, the Goodison Park faithful are now expected to make a third attempt to try and sign the Glasgow Rangers right-back in the January transfer window, after Rafa Benitez failed with a £9m bid in the summer.
Patterson is a player that has failed to hold a regular place in the Gers’ starting eleven so far this season ahead of James Tavernier, but there is no doubt that he is a prospect, after making his debut for the Scotland national team earlier this year at just 19 years of age.
Should Everton have signed Patterson?
He is 20 now, and while he could initially provide some much needed cover to 33-year-old Seamus Coleman, he also has the potential to replace him at the Merseyside club for years to come.
