# Everton reignite interest in £15 million-rated Premier League star

**Everton fans in the Football Transfer Tavern are hoping they can bring in a new central defender as soon as possible with the start of the Premier League looming.**

According to the [Mirror](https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/everton-revive-scott-dann-interest-8550315?), the Toffees are set to renew their interest in Crystal Palace defender Scott Dann after failing to sign him last summer.

The 29-year-old has picked up a lot of praise over the last few years at Selhurst Park and he’s now a target for Ronald Koeman, after they were stopped in their tracks in their attempts of signing Swansea captain Ashley Williams.

With Everton still pursuing a new leading centre-half, Everton are set to offer a deal within the region of £15 million after Dann signed a new five-year deal last summer, after rejecting a move to Goodison Park.

**Everton fans. Who would you prefer to come through this summer, Swansea’s Ashley Williams or Crystal Palace’s Scott Dann? Let us know your thoughts below.**
