# Everton: Richarlison’s message to supporters has Toffees fanbase swooning

**Richarlison has been a key figure at Goodison Park since his arrival from Watford [in the summer of 2018 in a £50 million deal](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/44946473), with supporters loving the forward for more than just his goalscoring presence.**

The Brazilian striker has had to contest with[summer signings Moise Kean and Alex Iwobi](https://www.theguardian.com/football/2019/aug/08/everton-sign-alex-iwobi) for spots in the first team but, after scoring [the winner away to Southampton in their last Premier League outing](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W3uc06vORCA), supporters have continued to show faith.

As well as this, Richarlison has a famously brilliant interaction with the fan base on social media, often hosting Q&As to interact with the fans that watch him every week.

In his latest Twitter posts, the 22-year-old had a special message to the fans in the form of a GIF which spoke louder than any words could – with a motion picture of him holding the Everton badge on his jersey with pride as a sign of love for the club.

As a result, supporters have flocked to return it on social media, here’s what they had to say.
