# Everton: Richarlison’s rejected Barcelona bid has Premier League fans talking over shock transfer comparison

**According to a report from [Sky Sports](https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11671/11921012/richarlison-everton-reject-barcelonas-85m-offer), Barcelona have apparently had an [£85m](https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11671/11921012/richarlison-everton-reject-barcelonas-85m-offer) offer turned down for Everton striker Richarlison – prompting a huge debate on Twitter between Premier League fans after a Toffees account compared this news to the reported [£80m valuation](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-7803099/Crystal-Palace-hold-firm-80m-valuation-Wilfried-Zaha-January-transfer-window.html) of Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha.**

A report from the [Daily Mail](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-7803099/Crystal-Palace-hold-firm-80m-valuation-Wilfried-Zaha-January-transfer-window.html) back in December revealed that Crystal Palace will ‘[stand firm](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-7803099/Crystal-Palace-hold-firm-80m-valuation-Wilfried-Zaha-January-transfer-window.html)‘ over their valuation of Wilfried Zaha, with Everton fan account [@CarloMagnifico](https://twitter.com/CarIoMagnifico/status/1222582122277490691) drawing parallels between the Ivorian’s price tag and Richarlison’s. As a result, Premier League supporters lashed out in debate, with the general consensus being that Zaha’s valuation is justified given the player’s superior ability. Similar to Richarlison, the 27-year-old can operate as a winger and a forward – though in terms of goals, the Toffees striker reigns supreme with [eight strikes and three assists](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/317804/Show/Richarlison) in the league this season. However, when it comes to take-ons, Zaha looks far more potent – averaging an impressive [5 completed dribbles](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/85059/Show/Wilfried-Zaha) per game while drawing a lot more fouls ([3.1](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/85059/Show/Wilfried-Zaha)), as per [WhoScored.com](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/85059/Show/Wilfried-Zaha).

As a result, these football fans have been in full voice over comparing the price tags of each player – here’s what they had to say on Twitter:
