**According to a rumour from [Turkish-Football.com](https://turkish-football.com/everton-plot-summer-move-for-34m-as-roma-star-forward-cengiz-under/), Everton are allegedly planning a [£34 million](https://turkish-football.com/everton-plot-summer-move-for-34m-as-roma-star-forward-cengiz-under/) summer swoop for AS Roma winger Cengiz Under in a bid to add creativity down their flanks – giving potential competition to current starters Theo Walcott and Bernard.**

Under, who has struggled for game time this season due to injury troubles ([Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/cengiz-under/verletzungen/spieler/341647)), is reportedly being monitored by the Toffees as they consider a potential summer bid for the Turkey international. Compared to Carlo Ancelotti’s current preferred wingers, Under has managed to eclipse both Walcott and Bernard in terms of creativity – averaging 1.5 shots, 1.4 key passes and 1.5 dribbles per game this season in his limited outings, [as per WhoScored.com](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/255071/History/Cengiz-%C3%9Cnder) – perhaps hinting that he could have a much more fruitful impact than the pair provided he stays his fit.

Whether or not he is worth the price tag Roma have slapped on is up for debate, but one thing is for certain, he could turn out to be a worthy injection of creativity from out wide at Goodison Park if the Toffees take a gamble judging by the stats previously mentioned.
