# Exclusive: French football expert thinks West Ham a good fit for Odsonne Edouard

**West Ham would be a good fit for Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard, says [Get French Football News’ Adam White](https://twitter.com/_adam_white_?lang=en).**

Edouard continues to be linked with a move to the Premier League, with Brighton the latest club [said to be interested](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-9824309/Brighton-make-20m-Celtic-striker-Osdonne-Edouard-face-competition-Palace.html) in the 23-year-old.

Meanwhile, West Ham are reportedly chasing Chelsea’s Tammy Abraham, though he is currently thought to be [set on a move to another London team](https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/15755118/chelsea-tammy-abraham-arsenal-preference-transfer/) in Arsenal.

So if the Hammers do end up missing out on Abraham and are forced to turn elsewhere, White believes Edouard could be a good option for them. The GFFN writer told **TT**:

*“West Ham would be a good fit. He’d get a lot of support from players like \[Pablo\] Fornals and \[Jarrod\] Bowen.*

*“There’s a lot of moving parts in that West Ham attack at the moment under \[David\] Moyes, so I think he’d be a nice fit.”*

Edouard has been so prolific for Celtic, scoring [22](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/odsonne-edouard/leistungsdaten/spieler/344152/plus/0?saison=2020) goals in all competitions for the Glasgow club last season.

Of course, the quality of the opposition he has faced can be questioned. But if Moyes really needs a new striker and someone like Abraham is off the table, then the Frenchman, who is still so young and has time to develop, looks worth a shot.
