# Expert – Wenger target better than Arsenal legend

**The Arsenal fans here in the Football Transfer Tavern are getting set for a few made weeks of rumours as manager Arsene Wenger looks to press on with his summer business.**

Having signed his controversial two-year deal off the back of the FA Cup final win over Premier League champions Chelsea, a lot is expected of Wenger at the bar in the Tavern this summer and there is one name on the lips of every punter.

Monaco sensation Kylian Mbappe has been [linked](https://metro.co.uk/2017/06/13/kylian-mbappe-drops-biggest-clue-yet-that-he-will-leave-monaco-moments-after-france-win-6706753/) with a move to The Emirates as the Gunners look to overhaul their attacking line ahead of the new season.

The 18-year-old, who fans got a look at when he walked out for France in the 3-2 win over England on Tuesday night, had an outstanding breakthrough season under Leonardo Jardim as the principality side won their first Ligue 1 title in 17 years.

Whilst many would be hesitant to big up the Frenchman, something out landlord is certainly warning against, BeIN Sports commentator [Matt Spiro](https://twitter.com/mattspiro/status/874915010446839808) has gone all out and claimed that there is talk of Mbappe already being better than Arsenal legend, and former Monaco man, Thierry Henry.

Spiro even [claims](https://twitter.com/mattspiro/status/874915144014458881) one of Henry’s former teammates at the principality club thinks that Mbappe is already further along in his development than the Gunners legend was at 18.

**So, Arsenal fans, without getting too excited, do you think the claims are right? Could Mbappe eclipse Henry at the club? Let us know below…**
