# Everton: Fans fume over Fabian Delph news

**Lots of Everton fans have been left fuming as news emerged involving Fabian Delph.**

As per the official [website](https://www.evertonfc.com/news/2194052/delph-to-miss-usa-trip-to-self-isolate) of the Goodison Park faithful, the central midfield player will not travel with the squad to play in the Florida Cup in Orlando as a precautionary measure, after he came into contact with someone who has since tested positive for coronavirus.

Delph will resume his own pre-season training as soon as his period of self-isolation is over.

Even though it is only a pre-season tournament, it seems as if his absence has angered many supporters of the Merseyside club, who are simply fed up with how many games he misses for them.
