# Liverpool: Fans laud Cesc Fabregas for latest comments

**Cesc Fabregas was involved in many great battles with Liverpool during his time with Chelsea and Arsenal.**

All in all, he has featured [27 times](https://www.transfermarkt.com/cesc-fabregas/bilanzdetails/spieler/8806/gegner/31) against the Reds, scoring twice and providing six assists. He actually has a positive record versus the European champions, winning 11 times and being on the losing end on just six occasions. Some of those games have been memorable, such as Liverpool’s 4-2 win against the Gunners in the Champions League quarter-final in 2008, as well as the stunning 4-4 draw a year later at Anfield.
