# Rangers: Fans praise Alfredo Morelos

**Alfredo Morelos was back on goalscoring form for Glasgow Rangers during their 1-0 win over Lech Poznan in the Europa League on Thursday.**

The ‘Gers faced a tough opponent in European competition last night but they just about managed to pick up all three points, and they have the former HJK Helsinki striker to thank. The Colombia international started on the bench but he was brought on to replace Kemar Roofe in the second half. In the end he proved to be the hero, heading Borna Barisic’s cross into the back of the net.

It has been a difficult few months for Morelos, with him being [linked](https://talksport.com/football/748333/rangers-boost-lille-gerard-lopez-paused-pursuit-alfredo-morelos/) with a £16m move to Lille whilst also coming in for [criticism](https://www.footballtransfertavern.com/rangers-fc-news/fans-slam-alfredo-morelos-ibrox/) from some supporters. However, many ‘Gers fans were far happier after this game-changing moment and they took to Twitter to praise the 24-year-old. One suggested that his price tag is now at £50m, whilst another called him “top class”.

### **Let’s see what they had to say about Morelos below**

> Morelos just showing why he deserves to be a Ranger. Aye his form has been well off recently but he always just pops up when you need him most.

> Massive win. Blunt showing in the 1st half, Poznan looked impressive. But 2nd half increase in intensity was excellent and 8 wins in a row – ANOTHER clean sheet – is huge. Morelos MOTM. He changed the game.
