Leyton Orient could well be back in the Football League next season as they sit in the driving seat, despite their loss to Bromley.
A number of Justin Edinburgh’s players have been performing to a quality standard throughout the course of the campaign, which has attracted some unwanted interest in the past and could once again mean that they will have to brace themselves in the summer, even if they win promotion.
Josh Koroma and Macauley Bonne are just two of their stars, however, if the Brisbane Road outfit were only able to focus their energy on trying to keep one of them at the club, who should they look to do that with? Let’s take a closer look at the duo below…
Koroma has been in fine form for Leyton Orient this season and has been one of the club’s main attacking threats with his ability to go forward.
The 20-year-old, who saw his form rewarded recently with a place in England’s C squad, has nine goals and seven assists in his 32 National League matches so far for Edinburgh’s men.
The winger, who is equally adept at playing as a centre-forward, still has plenty of time to develop further and become a real star in the future, which has seen visiting scouts all take note in the past.
The likes of Aston Villa and Huddersfield Town were understood to have been keen on Koroma heading into the previous transfer window and it would not be surprising if a number of clubs looked to take him off of Leyton Orient’s hands in the summer.

As has Koroma, Bonne has been vital to Orient’s promotion push this season and has arguably been the club’s biggest star of the current campaign.
The Zimbabwean has been incredibly sharp and lethal in front of goal, having recorded 21 goals and four assists in his 40 National League appearances so far.
Like his team-mate, Bonne can play on either flank as well as the main focal point of the side and still has plenty of time to develop into a real talent, considering that he is only 23-years-old.
However, his performances in the past have seen the likes of Leeds United and Norwich City both take an interest in him and his future looks destined to be higher up the football pyramid.
TT Grade: A
Both men have been nothing short of brilliant for Leyton Orient this season and it would be extremely difficult to see them both remaining at Brisbane Road beyond the end of the current campaign, even if they do win promotion to League Two.
There is no doubt that Koroma would be excellent to have in the team as well, however, if they were to have any chance of keeping at least one of their men in east London, they must surely have to try and keep hold of Bonne, as his goals are crucial and he looks to be one that can continue to spearhead their attack in the Football League.
