The 44-year-old took caretaker charge last season in the Premier League.
Indeed, the Englishman almost managed to pull off the impossible at the Hawthorns last season as he spearheaded a dramatic turnaround in the Premier League. He managed to secure seven points in games against the likes of Liverpool, Manchester United and Spurs, which established him as a fan favourite.
But, things didn’t work out for the Baggies as they dropped down to the Championship, despite Darren Moore’s heroics towards the end of the season.
The club legend was appointed as the club’s new Head Coach on the 18th of May.
Moore, in his first job in management, had guided the Baggies to fourth in the Championship with a seven-point cushion on Bristol City in seventh, so he wasn’t exactly doing badly.
Supporters may be slightly confused as to why Moore was relieved of his duties as he had completely transformed things at the Hawthorns, and it’s safe to say that fans had warmed to him.
West Brom fans, do you think the club made the right decision to sack Moore?
