Loads of supporters were over the moon with the club’s performance in the final, as they took to Twitter to express their delight over the news that the final whistle had been blown.

Manchester City were starting to build up ahead of steam under Pep Guardiola in the Premier League this time last year and they already had a potential silverware opportunity to look forward to, with tomorrow being the one year anniversary of Guardiola securing his first trophy as Manchester City boss.

It was a very memorable day for all involved as the Citizens had to work hard to get to the final, with a penalty shoot-out win over Wolves and Leicester City making their journey all the more nervy.
