On 13th November 2015, Charlton Athletic added Ricardo Vaz Te to their ranks at The Valley on a free transfer.
The striker has had a rather nomadic career, however, he has picked up experience of playing at the highest level for a number of clubs in a number of different leagues across the world.
Charlton had decided to bring the Portuguese forward to south London to try and help them achieve promotion back to the Premier League.
When taking a look at the reactions of their fans on Twitter, it would appear that the Addicks were rather delighted with the move the club made to bring Vaz Te to The Valley.
Here are some of their reactions:

However, despite their excitement and delight about the signing, they quickly saw the striker depart and continue his travels after a rather disappointing spell.
Originally signed on a deal to run until the end of the season, Vaz Te was released from his contract in February 2016.
The Portuguese forward managed to make just 12 appearances for Charlton during his time but failed to make a real impact and did not register a single goal for Karel Fraeye’s side, who was himself replaced by Jose Riga for his second spell.
The former West Ham United striker returned to Turkey to play for Akhisar Beiediyespor for a second spell before heading to the Chinese Super League and turning out for Henan Jianye.
