He’s been quite the addition, hasn’t he? In the summer of 2016, Aaron Mooy was brought in from Manchester City on a season-long loan. After such a successful campaign in which he helped Huddersfield Town to playoff success and to the Premier League for the first time, he moved to West Yorkshire on a permanent deal ahead of the campaign.
When Mooy’s move to the Terriers was made permanent at the end of the promotion-winning campaign, it is safe to say a lot of Town fans were ecstatic about the Australian who had stolen their hearts.

Mooy has since gone on to play for Town for a further two campaigns, becoming a key figure in the side. Indeed, during their remarkable campaign last year, he pulled the strings and helped David Wagner stave off relegation against literally all odds.
Quite the achievement.
Still, as his deal expires in the summer of 2020, there is a possibility he could move on to raise funds for Town and to enable him to continue playing at the highest level as he certainly has the ability to do so.
Whatever happens, though, he will always be remembered with fondness in a blue and white shirt. One of the club’s best players of the modern era, there’s no doubting the fact the Australian has enhanced both his own personal and the club’s profile during their stint together in the Premier League.
