QPR signed Cardiff midfielder Jordon Mutch for £6m in the Summer of 2014, after relegation with The Bluebirds.
The midfielder had been one of the bright lights for Cardiff the previous season, in what had been a fairly disappointing campaign. He had registered seven goals and seven assists as the Welsh side finished rock bottom of the Premier League.
This was a move that the majority of QPR seemed to welcome, believing he was a major addition to a side that were hoping to impress in their first season back in the Premier League. But there were still some fans that were slightly more critical of the deal.
This is what the fans had to say:
@QPRFC @jordonmutch Welcome to QPR! Excellent signing! COYRS

However, there were some more cynical fans:

As it turned out, this was a shambolic deal, which only lasted a matter of months.
The midfielder only lasted until January at Loftus Road before securing a move across London to Crystal Palace. He had struggled to make an impression at all with The Rs and wisely decided to move. As it turned out, he jumped ship before everyone else did, as the club went on to get relegated.
For one of QPR’s biggest ever signings, this turned out to be an utter disaster.
