Another good signing. Not the finished article but definitely decent at this level. Happy with all 3 #cafc signings so far.

He's a little guy but he looks composed in front of goal and likes to get stuck in. Looks promising.

Tariqe Fosu made his debut for Reading coming on as a 30th-minute substitute in their Championship victory over Derby County back in 2015. However, he wasn’t able to secure regular minutes, so he moved out on loan to Fleetwood Town, before joining Accrington Stanley for the remainder of the 2015/16 campaign.
The youngster was then shipped out on loan to Colchester United at the end of August 2016, where he enjoyed a very successful loan spell, scoring six goals in 34 appearances, along with being named in the EFL team of the week at some point during the season.
However, on the 19th of June 2017, Tariqe Fosu joined Charlton Athletic for an undisclosed fee from Championship side Reading. And, his first goal for the club came in a 4–3 win over Oldham Athletic on the 2nd of September 2017, which was followed by a perfect hat-trick at the end of the month.
Interestingly, the attacker was an instant hit at the Valley as he managed to score nine goals and provided five assists during his first season. And, he has been just as impressive in the current campaign, with two goals and four assists to his name, at just 23 years of age.
So, it comes as no surprise that supporters were happy to see him join the club as he has already displayed his quality over the past season or so and he will have a huge part to play in their promotion push, with plenty of development still to be had.
