After leaving Leicester City back in 2016, striker Joe Dodoo became Rangers’ ninth signing of the summer transfer window that year after he arrived at Ibrox on a four-year deal.
And despite joining the Glasgow club as a relatively unknown player, his addition to the squad was one that excited supporters.

Unfortunately for Dodoo, though, from a centre-forward’s perspective, he did not enjoy the most successful of times at Ibrox.
The 23-year-old was only able to muster up three goals in 20 league appearances before being loaned out to Charlton Athletic where he also endured a difficult period.
Dodoo is now at Blackpool for the season having not done enough to impress manager Steven Gerrard and, while his Rangers career has yet to take off, the former Leicester man has credited the club for helping him to develop a winning mentality.
“It [Rangers] has been really good. It is a demanding place and somewhere that you need to win,” Dodoo told the Daily Record. “All the club’s I have been at, there has been pressure to win,” the Ghanaian added.
All in all, Dodoo’s move to Rangers has not worked out, though at 23 years of age, he still has time to turn things around.
