What does the future hold for Benny Ashley-Seal at Wolves?

It’s safe to say that the mood has changed at Molineux as things have turned rather sour on the field in recent times, with losses against Watford and Southampton raising concern.

The Midlands club have been the surprise package in the Premier League this season but they’ve let themselves down in recent times, so changes are needed if a European spot is to be secured.

Indeed, one problem has been the lack of support for Raul Jimenez and Diogo Jota at the pinnacle of the attack, as the likes of Helder Costa, Ivan Cavaleiro and Adama Traore have posed very little attacking threat.

However, Nuno Espirito Santo may have a secret weapon up his sleeve for next season as Benny Ashley-Seal has been hugely impressive in the Under-23 side this season, having produced 10 goals in 10 Premier League 2 matches.

The 20-year-old is currently on loan at Portuguese side Femalicao.

He has all the ingredients to become a future star but he needs to work on his finishing a little bit more if he is to thrive at the very top, as he could get found out against some of the Premier League’s best defenders.

However, his 10 goals are too hard to ignore so Nuno Espirito Santo should at least think about using him as an impact substitute next season or even give him playing time in the cup competitions.

He could be the Midlands club’s secret weapon next season as no one has really seen anything of him.
