Che Adams is currently having a fantastic season with Birmingham City, which has not gone unnoticed.
The likes of Burnley and Southampton made moves for the 22-year-old during the winter transfer window with Sky Sports previously reporting on the interest from the two Premier League clubs.
Since then, some even bigger names have seemingly thrown their hats into the ring ahead of summer with the Daily Mirror stating that both Arsenal and Manchester United are admirers of Adams.
And based on this campaign alone, it is not hard to understand why. In the Championship, Adams has reached the 20-goal mark while his displays overall have been impressive.
The Birmingham striker has been so dangerous for Garry Monk’s side this season with his acceleration and pace and could be an ideal fit for an outfit such as Manchester United who have been devastating on the counter-attack under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
With all of that being said, Adams would face an extremely difficulty task in trying to get into the Manchester United team, while not much needs to be said about Arsenal with Unai Emery already having the likes of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette to call upon.
The above, however, does not mean Adams is not ready to make that step up to the Premier League; he certainly looks capable of playing for a side like Southampton, for example.
But for now, the likes of Arsenal and Manchester United might just come too soon for the former England U20 international. Not everyone can be a Dele Alli right away.
