# Nottingham Forest: Fans praise Matty Cash in response to his social media message

**Nottingham Forest were delighted to leave The Hawthorns with a point on Saturday after grabbing a last-gasp equaliser against West Brom courtesy of a fine strike from Matty Cash.**

The full-back [also scored against the Baggies](https://www.skysports.com/football/n-forest-vs-w-brom/409353) on the opening day of the season too with a brilliant finish and there was little Slaven Bilic’s side could do to stop him once again. He skipped past Jake Livermore in the penalty box before [unleashing a powerful drive](https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/51423630) across goal that Sam Johnstone didn’t have a hope of saving.

The pleasure was etched across Cash’s face afterwards as he sprinted down to the travelling supporters to celebrate what could be a huge goal come the end of the season. Indeed, he didn’t stop there, as he took to [Twitter](https://twitter.com/mattycash622/status/1228990160970420225) to express his delight at scoring the decisive goal, stating that he “loved every minute” of the match against Albion.

Cash’s desire and commitment was a real positive and if he and his teammates can produce that consistently until May, then there could be more joyous moments like the late equaliser at West Brom. The 22-year-old is already a popular figure among many fans and they responded to his message with praise, with some of their reactions shown below.
