# Nottingham Forest: Fans enjoyed Michael Dawson’s reactions in footage tweeted by the club

**Nottingham Forest have put themselves in a fantastic position to win promotion to the Premier League after a run of [six wins in nine league games](https://www.skysports.com/nottingham-forest-results).**

It is an interesting and impressive turnaround given they were [without a win in five games](https://www.skysports.com/nottingham-forest-results) between the defeats against Cardiff and Huddersfield in December. Credit must go to Sabri Lamouchi for rejuvenating his squad and installing a belief in his players, who have shown that they are capable of competing with the best in the Championship.

A convincing win against Leeds, who uncharacteristically had just [one shot on target](https://www.skysports.com/football/n-forest-vs-leeds/stats/409715) at the City Ground, proves that Forest are credible promotion candidates, and one factor has played a significant role. That is the spirit and camaraderie in the squad (as pointed out recently by [Nuno da Costa](https://www.nottinghampost.com/sport/football/transfer-news/new-nottingham-forest-signing-believes-3815961)), with every player seemingly pulling in the right direction and ready to fight with each other to win points.

A camera captured the reactions from the substitutes’ bench on Saturday and showed every player expressing passion and encouraging their teammates, with Michael Dawson standing out the most for his energetic display. As captain and a boyhood Forest fan, promotion would likely mean that little bit extra for the defender, and many fans acknowledged and appreciated his display of emotion, as the following reactions show.

***What did you make of the Forest players’ reactions at the weekend? Is it evidence of a strong team spirit and will that help in terms of winning promotion?***
