# Fulham: Fans are missing Slavisa Jokanovic as they wish him a happy birthday

**It may be nine months since Fulham parted ways with [Slavisa Jokanovic](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/46205801), but the manager is certainly firmly in the hearts of these supporters as fans wished him a happy birthday on Twitter.**

The former boss turned 51 on Friday, and fans were more than happy sending their best wishes to the man who delivered a season of Premier League football back to Craven Cottage, having successfully navigated through the [play-offs](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/44178427) at the second time of asking.

And just in case there was a chance of any ill feeling as the club headed towards [relegation](https://www.skysports.com/premier-league-table/2018) either side of his reign, the response to the club wishing the former manager the best of days via [Twitter](https://twitter.com/FulhamFC/status/1162306480273526784) was decidedly positive, with supporters clearly missing the days under the Serb.

Some fans pleaded for Jokanovic to make a sensational return, while others settled for giving the birthday boy legendary status.

Either way, it seems that Jokanovic’s standing among Fulham fans is secure, long after his departure:
