# Fulham: Fans call for Calum Chambers return as defender watches Millwall win

**Plenty of Fulham fans were left calling for a former player’s return after Calum Chambers was spotted in the stands at Craven Cottage during the team’s thumping 4-0 victory at home to [Millwall](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/49340157) on Wednesday evening.**

The Whites’ dominant performance may have caught the eye on a superb night of football under the lights, though fans’ attention was switched to the discovery of last year’s [Player of the Season](https://www.fulhamfc.com/news/2019/may/25/calum-chambers-player-of-the-season) watching on, thanks to a [post](https://twitter.com/FulhamFC/status/1164259618769506309) from the club’s Twitter account during half-time.

Chambers looked on as Fulham racked up 88% of the [possession](https://twitter.com/FulhamFC/status/1164260593727094785) by the interval, but fans were wanting more, with plenty demanding the club make a move for the Arsenal centre-back and reinstall him to the Fulham squad.

It is clear that supporters still hold a place in their hearts for Chambers, with fans’ responses dominated by pleas for the 24-year-old to turn out once again for Fulham in the near future.

So as some hold out for a January swoop for Chambers, his appearance has certainly given supporters reason to believe a return to the club could be on the cards:
