Fulham manager Marco Silva has shared an injury update on defender Antonee Robinson who is now a doubt for the clash with Nottingham Forest.

The Lowdown: Cottagers cruising?

The newly-promoted Premier League side have started this season back in the big time very impressively thus far.

Winning two, drawing two and losing two, Silva's men sit comfortably in mid-table and have notched impressive results against the likes of Liverpool (2-2), Brentford (3-2) and Brighton (2-1) in the last few weeks.

Star striker Aleksandar Mitrovic is also proving he can cut it in the English top flight with only Man City superstar Erling Haaland (10) bagging more league goals than the Serbia international (6).

Silva will be looking to keep this momentum going, but as per his latest team news, he could be without a capable option for Fulham's trip to Forest tomorrow.

The Latest: Robinson doubt...

Indeed, as shared by the Fulham boss (via West London Sport), it appears the left-back suffered an ankle problem in their last 2-1 defeat to Tottenham and needs assessing before Forest.

Robinson is a doubt for the clash, and whilst the injury isn't serious, he could certainly miss Fulham's journey to the City Ground.

Silva stated:

“It will be difficult, I have to be honest.

“We still have some hours until the game and we have to check him [Robinson], like we are doing every single day, and we have to take the decision.”

The Verdict: Worry for Silva...

As per WhoScored, the USA international has been an untouchable in Fulham's starting eleven so far - having started all six top flight matches whilst ranking as their sixth-highest best performing player.

In terms of tackles, interceptions and clearances per 90, Robinson sits comfortably in their top five players for each defensive aspect - highlighting just what a crucial asset he can be for Silva.

If the 25-year-old does miss Forest, he will be a very sore absence, but at least his ankle issues don't appear too serious to keep the 'hell of a player' out long term.
