# Fulham: Cottagers reach ‘full agreement’ to sign Layvin Kurzawa

**[Fulham](https://www.footballtransfertavern.com/fulham-fc-news/) have now reached a ‘full agreement’ to sign Paris Saint-Germain defender Layvin Kurzawa, according to transfer insider [Fabrizio Romano](https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano).**

### The Lowdown: Approved by Silva

The Frenchman was [told](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-11136917/Fulham-talks-sign-favour-PSG-defender-Layvin-Kurzawa.html) he could leave the Parc des Princes earlier in the summer after falling out of favour under Christophe Galtier, and the [Premier League](https://www.footballtransfertavern.com/premier-league-news/) quickly emerged as his most likely destination.

The 29-year-old entered talks with the Cottagers, who made completing the deal a ‘[priority’](https://www.footballtransfertavern.com/fulham-fc-news/fulham-layvin-kurzawa-psg-latest-transfer-news-rumours-updates/), before Marco Silva personally [approved](https://www.footballtransfertavern.com/fulham-fc-news/fulham-layvin-kurzawa-paris-saint-germain-marco-silva-latest-transfer-news-rumours-updates/) the club’s pursuit of their target.

### The Latest: Fulham agree Kurzawa deal

Taking to [Twitter](https://twitter.com/fabrizioromano/status/1564758632381677569?s=21&t=jec0IM_j2l45YhPx-6GQWQ), Romano confirmed that Fulham have completed a deal to sign Kurzawa, who is set to arrive at Craven Cottage on Wednesday. He wrote:

“Layvin Kurzawa to Fulham, deal now done and completed. Full agreement in principle — gonna be a loan deal, no buy option and no permanent move. Kurzawa will fly to London today. Here we go.”

### The Verdict: Alongside Willian?

Former Chelsea star Willian has been training with Fulham over the summer and is [close](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/62720829) to being unveiled as a new signing after undergoing a medical, and Kurzawa will soon be following in his footsteps.

The PSG ace, who once [dubbed](https://www.sofoot.com/kurzawa-j-ai-pris-en-maturite-485487.html) himself ‘crazy’, has racked up [23](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/92795/History/Layvin-Kurzawa) assists throughout his career and has won an outstanding [18](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/layvin-kurzawa/erfolge/spieler/126710) trophies during his time in Ligue 1, showing the attacking prowess and elite level experience he will bring to the capital.
