Fulham began their 2025/26 Premier League campaign with a hard-fought point at the Amex Stadium on Saturday, battling to a 1-1 draw against Brighton.
The hosts looked on course for victory after Matt O’Riley converted a penalty just after the interval, but Brazilian forward Rodrigo Muniz struck deep into stoppage time — the 96th minute, no less — to snatch a share of the spoils with practically the last kick of the game.
It was the kind of fighting spirit Marco Silva has been desperate to see from his side, and a solid foundation to build upon for the months ahead.
But with the transfer window still open, Silva is keen to reinforce his squad, particularly in attack. Muniz continues to be linked with a move away, and the Cottagers may now have their eyes on a potential replacement from Old Trafford.
Fulham Interested in Højlund

According to the Daily Mail, Fulham are weighing up a move for Manchester United striker Rasmus Højlund.
The Denmark international is on the radar as Muniz attracts serious bids from Atalanta. AC Milan have also been in talks with United, tabling an offer of a £4.5 million loan fee with a £39 million option to buy. For Fulham, any approach would hinge on whether Højlund himself is keen on the move before they commit to formal negotiations.
Despite his struggles at Old Trafford, Højlund — described as “underrated” by Times reporter Charlotte Duncker — is said to be determined to fight for his place under Ruben Amorim. He is backing himself to contribute this season, particularly if new £73 million arrival Benjamin Šeško takes time to adapt to Premier League life.
United, however, are eager to offload the 22-year-old after a disappointing debut season following his high-profile move from Atalanta. Højlund managed just four Premier League goals in 2024/25, raising serious doubts about his finishing ability at the highest level.
For Fulham, it would be a bold move, but with Silva pushing for attacking reinforcements, questions remain whether Højlund is truly the answer or simply another gamble in their search for firepower.
