# Glasgow Rangers: Fans call for Alfredo Morelos to start against Bayer Leverkusen

**Plenty of Glasgow Rangers fans insist that [Alfredo Morelos](https://www.footballtransfertavern.com/rangers-fc-news/gers-fans-agree-jordan-campbell-morelos-aberdeen/) must be in the starting line-up for this evening’s Europa League clash against Bayer Leverkusen as they aim to overturn a [1-3 deficit](https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/51726183) from the first leg.**

On the eve of the match, radio phone-in show Clyde 1 asked followers on Twitter ([@ClydeSSB](https://twitter.com/ClydeSSB/status/1291058788334804992)) whether they feel that the Colombian, who has been [strongly linked with a £17m move to Lille](https://www.footballinsider247.com/exclusive-rangers-advanced-talks-to-sell-morelos/), should be included in the team for the game in Germany.

Despite the intense transfer speculation surrounding the 24-year-old, many ‘Gers fans responded to emphatically state that he should be in the line-up for a variety of reasons.
