# Glasgow Rangers: Fans baulk at Lille’s reported £13m offer for Alfredo Morelos

**Plenty of Glasgow Rangers fans were not impressed with reports that Lille offered £13m plus bonuses for Alfredo Morelos.**

Jordan Campbell reported for [The Athletic](https://theathletic.com/1952630/2020/07/26/) that the above offer from the Ligue 1 club was turned down by the ‘Gers, with no currently active discussions between the two sides. He also shared a link to the piece on his Twitter profile [@JordanC1107](https://twitter.com/JordanC1107/status/1287461345730994177).

He added that the 24-year-old is [keen on a move to France](https://theathletic.com/1952630/2020/07/26/) and has told Lille that he wants a move there this summer. [Sky Sports](https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11788/12036464/alfredo-morelos-rangers-striker-agrees-to-join-lille) claimed that he had even agreed personal terms with the Ligue 1 outfit.

Morelos, who cost the ‘Gers only £1.08m when he joined from HJK Helsinki three years ago (as per [TransferMarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/alfredo-morelos/transfers/spieler/338962)), has scored [77 goals in 137 matches](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/alfredo-morelos/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/338962/verein/124) at Ibrox, including [29 last season](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/alfredo-morelos/leistungsdaten/spieler/338962) in a prolific campaign for the Colombian.
