# Give them minutes: Tottenham simply must give these outcasts an opportunity to shine

**With the Premier League up and running again, the Spurs fans in the Transfer Tavern are hoping their side can make the most of the pressure they’ve applied on the league in the last couple of seasons and finally bring home the title.**

Mauricio Pochettino has built a wonderful squad whilst he has been at Tottenham and the club’s move to Wembley may just coincide with a title being won by the Argentine manager.

It is no doubt that Spurs have the players to do so with the club managing to hang on to the likes of Harry Kane, Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen so far during this the transfer window, there are many in the Tavern who hope that Spurs can bring a title home before these players feel it is time to move on to bigger things should the trophies not come.

However, with many fixtures to play this season.

Our landlord believes now is the time for Poch to see if his whole squad are up for what the season has to offer. He has been thinking and has made a list of the Spurs outcasts that must get a chance to shine in the next few weeks.

Let’s take a look at them here…

## Heung-Min Son

Instrumental for Spurs last season, Son has not had much of a look in this season and our landlord feels that the South Korean simply must be given a chance to really shine by Mauricio Pochettino in the opening stages of the season.

The Lilywhites in the Tavern agree and they would love to see Son start for there side as they really believes he is a quality asset to their side, especially if they are to compete on multiple fronts this season.

## Harry Winks

The youngster showed some promise last season before injury cut his season short and the Spurs fans in the Tavern feel the midfielder should be allowed to start this season where he left the last one.

England will also be monitoring Winks’ progress and with so much technical ability, Winks will be a shoe in to the national side should he showcase his true ability.
