# Glasgow Rangers: Fans react to Porto’s interest in Alfredo Morelos

**Alfredo Morelos has long been linked with a move away from Glasgow Rangers and it is surely only a matter of time before he departs.**

The Colombia international has scored [79](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/alfredo-morelos/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/338962) goals in 142 games for the Gers, but it looks like his time is up at Ibrox. He has been heavily linked with a move to Lille, with him even [said to have agreed personal terms](https://www.footballtransfertavern.com/rangers-fc-transfer-rumours/glasgow-rangers-alfredo-morelos-reportedly-agrees-to-join-ligue-1-side-lille/) with Les Dogues, but as of yet there has been no agreement between the two clubs in terms of a transfer fee.

Another team has now entered the race for his signature – according to [TVI24](https://tvi24.iol.pt/videos/desporto/mais-transferencias-foi-o-carrasco-na-liga-europa-agora-e-alvo-do-fc-porto/5f4d31980cf2dcf51aae2edb), Porto are interested in signing the [£13.5m-valued](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/alfredo-morelos/marktwertverlauf/spieler/338962) 24-year-old. The Dragoes have seen first hand what he can do, with Morelos [scoring twice against them](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/alfredo-morelos/bilanzdetails/spieler/338962/gegner/720) in two matches in last year’s Europa League.

The latest speculation has attracted plenty of attention from ‘Gers supporters and it seems that they would be happy to see him move to Portugal – after all, they have won the European Cup/Champions League [twice](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/uefa-champions-league/erfolge/pokalwettbewerb/CL), an honour which [Lille cannot claim](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/uefa-champions-league/erfolge/pokalwettbewerb/CL).

> Morelos would be amazing for Porto if the rumours are true!! Would still rather he stayed and got focused but looks like his time here is up

> Think Porto would be a cracking fit for Morelos. Think he’d thrive in the Portuguese league and then get his big move to Spain or England.

> Better move for him. Far easier stretch spanish-Portuguese than French. Better league too. More competitive.
