# Glasgow Rangers: Fiorentina could sell Milenkovic to fund Morelos

**Fiorentina could sell Nikola Milenkovic to AC Milan [according to Gazetta dello Sport](https://www.gazzetta.it/Calcio/Calciomercato/Milan/15-09-2020/milan-milenkovic-chiesa-decide-commisso-3801998441612_preview.shtml), which may provide the cash injection they need to complete a deal for reported [number one target](https://www.sundaypost.com/fp/fiorentina-eye-rangers-striker-alfredo-morelos-but-massimo-donati-fears-his-temper-is-a-problem-for-serie-a/) Alfredo Morelos of Glasgow Rangers.**

Morelos has long been linked with a move away from Ibrox this summer, with him even [reportedly agreeing personal terms](https://www.footballtransfertavern.com/rangers-fc-transfer-rumours/glasgow-rangers-alfredo-morelos-reportedly-agrees-to-join-ligue-1-side-lille/) with Lille.

La Viola, though, are said to have him as their number one target this summer. The report says that Milan want 22-year-old Milenkovic, with Fiorentina holding out for €40m (£36.4m) for the Serbian.

This update could well be very good news for all involved at Ibrox. Morelos looks to be on his way out of the club, having [not started any of the last three matches](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/alfredo-morelos/leistungsdaten/spieler/338962), and there is a danger that if a deal is not completed soon, the Colombia international could become a distraction.

The Gers are said to want [£20m](https://www.teamtalk.com/news/steven-gerrard-alfredo-morelos-warning-rangers-lille) for the 24-year-old – if the Serie A outfit were able to complete a deal anywhere close to what they want for Milenkovic, they would have more than enough money to complete the signing of the 54-time Scottish champions’ striker. Previous reports have said La Viola must sell to buy – this, therefore, could be exactly what they need to sign Morelos.
