# Glasgow Rangers: Willie Miller tears into Alfredo Morelos

**Willie Millie has torn into Glasgow Rangers’ Alfredo Morelos on BBC Sportsound.**

It has been a difficult few days for the Colombia international – after [demanding to be sold](https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/sport/football/5962760/rangers-reopen-morelos-transfer-talks-lille/) by the Gers, he was left out of the squad for the Ibrox outfit’s match against Kilmarnock, which they won 2-0 thanks to goals from Kemar Roofe and Ryan Kent.

Miller is seemingly not a fan of the 24-year-old at the moment, saying ([via The Daily Record](https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-transfer-news/alfredo-morelos-branded-rangers-bad-22565466)):

*“If you don’t have the right attitude it’s really difficult for the manager to pick a player, even one as talented as Morelos.*

*“And with the goals that he scores for Rangers, they’re vitally important.*

*“But I don’t think it comes as any surprise, he seems a moody young man, doesn’t he?* *He looks overweight, I said that at Pittodrie.*

*“People were saying: ‘Oh, he’s playing a little bit deeper, a little bit different’.*

*“Listen, Alfredo Morelos is a striker, he wants to be in the box. He’s a predator.* *His quick feet weren’t there against Aberdeen either, so he’s let himself down by coming back looking unfit, in my eyes anyway.*

*“And now, if he’s not giving the manager everything and being, perhaps, a disruptive influence.* *Some of the the temperamental scenes we’ve seen from him, not just recently but over the years.”*

Morelos’ time in Glasgow does appear to be up. He has already been linked with a move away from the club, with him reportedly [agreeing personal terms](https://www.footballtransfertavern.com/rangers-fc-transfer-rumours/glasgow-rangers-alfredo-morelos-reportedly-agrees-to-join-ligue-1-side-lille/) with Lille, whilst his recent comments have [indicated](https://www.fourfourtwo.com/news/alfredo-morelos-is-open-to-summer-move-away-from-rangers-1595878220000#:~:text=Rangers%20striker%20Alfredo%20Morelos%20admits,opener%20at%20Aberdeen%20on%20Saturday.) that he is certainly looking for a switch.

Even though he has scored [79](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/alfredo-morelos/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/338962) goals in 142 matches since making the move to the Gers in 2017 for [£1.08m](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/alfredo-morelos/profil/spieler/338962), no-one is bigger than the club. Steven Gerrard will be hoping the matter is resolved as soon as possible.
