# Glasgow Rangers: Fans worried by Alfredo Morelos post

**Alfredo Morelos has been an inspiring signing for Glasgow Rangers since he made the switch from HJK Helsinki in 2017 for [£1.08m](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/alfredo-morelos/profil/spieler/338962).**

The Colombia international has been lethal up front ever since he made the move to Ibrox. In [137](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/alfredo-morelos/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/338962) games in all competitions, he has managed a huge 77 goals, 29 of which came in the previous campaign alone. Now, he is valued at [£10.8m](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/alfredo-morelos/marktwertverlauf/spieler/338962) by Transfermarkt, the second-highest in the Scottish Premiership.

On Sunday, the forward turned 24, which led to the Gers’ official Twitter account [wishing him a happy birthday](https://twitter.com/RangersFC/status/1274613054957813761). In response, Morelos [retweeted it](https://twitter.com/morelos2106/status/1274639135874207744) with the caption: “Thank you very much Rangers for everything”.

This appears to have sent the Gers fans into overdrive – they seem to believe that this means he is departing the club. After all, it has been reported that the 54-time Scottish champions [expect](https://www.footballinsider247.com/ibrox-sources-big-update-on-rangers-striker-pursuit-keeping-morelos/) to lose the player during this transfer window.
